I have been married to my husband Mark since 2012. We have 2 wonderful children with big personalities, that constantly keep us on our toes! I have been an occupational therapist since 2003. I have worked in pediatrics my entire career and was an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapist before earning my OT degree. In 2017 I became a Certified Autism Specialist and immersed myself in the latest research and techniques to help children with autism. Having my son receive speech therapy for a year gave me another perspective on therapy from the eyes of a parent. As a result, this increased my understanding of how important the relationships between therapists and families are to a child’s ultimate success, not only in the clinic but in the home and community settings as well. I love my job and the positive impact OT has on children and families.
