Cari has been married to her husband Mark since 2012. They have two wonderful children with big personalities, who constantly keep them on their toes! Cari has been an occupational therapist since 2003. She has worked in pediatrics her entire career and was an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapist before earning her OT degree. In 2017, she became a Certified Autism Specialist and immersed herself in the latest research and techniques to help children with autism. Having her son receive speech therapy for a year gave her another perspective on therapy from the eyes of a parent. As a result, this increased her understanding of how important the relationships between therapists and families are to a child’s ultimate success, not only in the clinic but in the home and community settings. Cari loves her job and the positive impact OT has on children and families.
